Recently, we got a lot of customers of us asking us about the features of Uber.
So we decided to do a quick short post about the most useful features of Uber.
Before we get to the point where we discuss the features of Uber, let’s see what actually an Uber app is.
Uber is a Smartphone app that connects passengers to drivers with vehicles for hire.
Passengers select the class of car they want to ride, the location they want to be picked up from and the location they want to be dropped.
The app then alerts the user about the confirmation of the ride, the driver’s name, car’s number plate and the route which the driver would take and the estimated time to reach the fed destination.
At the completion of the ride, a receipt is mailed to the customer followed by a dual rating of the customer and the driver by each other.
Uber is one of the most popular applications on the iOS app store.
The company develops, markets and operates the Uber mobile app, which allows consumers with smartphones to submit a trip request which is then routed to Uber drivers who use their own cars.
By May 28 2015, the service was available in 58 countries and 300 cities worldwide.
Since Uber’s launch, several other companies have copied its business model, a trend that has come to be referred to as “Uberification”.
How to Uber?
Whenever you’re ready, wherever you are — it’s the easiest way to go.
— First, tap to set your pickup location.
— Request your ride and a driver will accept.
— Enter the address or name of your destination.
— After pickup, we show the driver where you’re going…
There’s a lot more you can do with the features of Uber, too.
Step up your ride with some of these features of Uber.
Find out roughly what your trip will cost before you request.
Just set your pickup location, enter a destination, and tap Fare Quote — the app will calculate an approximate amount based on the expected time and distance, so there are never any surprises on your receipt.
Forget freeloaders, IOUs, and separate cash transfers.
Use the app to split the cost of your trip with other Uber riders.
After your ride starts, choose Split Fare from the menu and add the other passengers — they’ll each pay a small transaction fee, but otherwise all credit cards will be charged equally.
Let friends and family follow your route and know when to expect you.
Once the driver has picked you up, select Share ETA from the menu and we’ll create a text message with a link to your trip.
Then just hit send.
Now if you want to build an app like Uber then you might wonder what would it cost?
